ABOUT ME

THIS WORLD, AS I SEE IT

You can look at a picture for a week and never think of it again. You can also look at a picture for a second and think of it all your life. –Joan Miro

There is indescribable beauty and wonder in nature: a world filled with light and peace. Miracles unfold before our eyes. Photography is an expression of the world we live in, and of what we see and experience. Attempting to represent the sacred in nature can be maligned as being naive or simplistic. This need not be so.

The purpose of my photography is to provide a brief, if somewhat veiled, glimpse into that clear and brilliant world of light and power. If the photographs succeed in evoking that for you, then I will have accomplished much.

My thanks to Christopher Burkett for the inspiration.
